Overview

Image overlays help you show references, logos, UI mocks, or before/after visuals directly in context. [insert screenshot of image overlay controls with fit/fill/background modes and layer order]

What you can do with image overlays

  • Insert images from uploads or library assets.
  • Replace an existing image while keeping position/style.
  • Choose fit/fill/background display behavior.
  • Adjust size, crop, position, corner radius, opacity, and shadow.
  • Layer images under or above text/shapes for composition.
  • Animate image entry to match narration beats.

Before you start

  • Pick the image role: reference, decoration, or primary visual.
  • Confirm source image quality is sufficient for output resolution.
  • Decide whether full image visibility (fit) or edge-to-edge impact (fill) is more important.

Steps

  1. Insert the image into the target scene.
  2. Choose display mode (fit/fill/background) based on goal.
  3. Position and scale for clear composition.
  4. Add subtle style controls (radius/shadow/opacity) only if they improve clarity.
  5. Set layer order so text and key UI remain visible.
  6. Add entry timing if the image should appear at a specific moment.
  7. Preview the scene and reduce visual clutter if needed.

Check your result

  • The image supports the message without obscuring key content.
  • Layering and timing feel intentional.
  • The image remains sharp and readable in preview.

Troubleshooting

Image is cropped unexpectedly

Switch fit/fill mode and re-center the focal content.

Replacing image changed layout

Confirm you replaced the selected element and not a duplicated overlay in the same scene.

Scene feels visually heavy

Lower image prominence with opacity/size adjustments and simplify nearby overlays.
