# Record narration

> Read your script from the teleprompter while the camera records.

Your own voice makes a demo feel personal, and the teleprompter means you never lose your place.

**Ask the Agent:** "Record me reading the script on the teleprompter."

The Agent can do this once your video has voiceover lines in the **Script** tab.

## Do it yourself

1. Click **Record Talk Track** in the insert bar under the canvas.

2. The recorder opens in **Teleprompter** mode, with your narration loaded as the script. Click the record button (the white circle) and read. The script scrolls along as you speak.

3. Click the red stop button, or press ⇧Escape, when you're done.

Your take replaces all of your existing narration, split across your scenes, so read the whole script in one go.

## Teleprompter controls

| Control | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Paste a script with ⌘V** | Pastes your own script when the panel is empty. **Clear** empties it. |
| **Top Text Align** / **Middle Text Align** / **Auto Text Align** | Sets where the current line sits. |
| **Flip Horizontal** / **Flip Vertical** | Mirrors the text for a teleprompter rig. |

> [!TIP]
>
> Write the way you talk, keep sentences short, and read it aloud once first.
